JPop Album : Hikaru Utada - Deep River

TOCT-24819 Distributed by: Toshiba-EMI Running time: 54:48 2002 Notes: Honestly, I'm really not impressed with this album all that much.  Both of Hikaru's previous albums stood out to me and I enjoyed them immediately, but Deep River seems to be taking a step back from Hikaru's normal energetic style, and that might be a good thing.  One thing that I've noticed while listening to this albums is that the music doesn't seem attached to her singing.  So if you're looking for more upbeat Hikaru, go for Distance, but Deep River will do well for those looking for some slower paced tracks.
