JPop Album : Hitomi - Thermo Plastic

Running time: 57:52 1999 Notes: Here is the second JPop artist that has truly struck a chord with me.  I had originally found her by downloading a couple music videos, one of which was hers.  I was very impressed by the song, and asked around about her.  Seems that a couple of my other buddies have her albums, and really liked her.  So, ignoring my resentment towards JPop (I really don't need any more addictions which is why I tend to stay away from this category), I went ahead and ordered her new album at the time, 'Thermo Plastic'.  And I must say, that this album shows how much of a range hitomi's songs span.  From the French introduction, to heavy beat laden 'Gamble', to the soft tones of 'Kimi no Tonari ni' (Next to you) theme to Persona II for the Sony Playstation, to the edgy sound of "there is..." a theme song for some TV drama series.  All in all, I was pretty impressed, and I'm looking forward to hearing what she does in the future.
