Soundtrack: Jin-Roh - The Wolf Brigade

Jin-Roh - The Wolf Brigade
BANDAI-1882
Distributed by: Bandai Running time: 51:52 2002
Notes:
Um, wow.  That's about all I can say about this one.  Soothing, somber, dark, and uplifting, all at the same time.  One of the better soundtracks that I've listened to in a long time.  The musical themes help give life to  the main characters and their unfolding drama.  Hajime Mizoguchi keeps up his quality work that he has shown earlier with his other soundtracks (Macross Plus, Brain Power'd, and Escaflowne).  Yoko Kanno also lends a hand with the piano work through out the soundtrack, but most noticeably in "Blue Clouds", as well as the very few vocals in the album.  This soundtrack came with the Special Edition of Jin-Roh on DVD, and is something that I would like to see more companies do more often.  Go Bandai!
