Notes:
This album is just a fun, light-hearted romp
through music. Maaya's sweet vocals and
guitar mixed with Yoko Kanno's vocals and piano
is just something that makes me happy.
Half of the lyrics were written by Sakamoto
herself, which is pretty impressive for someone
who started out as seiyuu. I still need to
pick up her 2nd album, "Dive" one of these days,
but for the time being, "Lucy" definitely ranks
right up there for a relaxing album to listen to
while working in the yard, or just lounging in
the sun. |
