Notes:
Yubiwa or "Ring" is the CD Single from the movie version of
Escaflowne. Unlike the movie, this single really impressed
me. The movie was a bit of a let down considering how much
I loved the original TV series. Yoko Kanno and Maaya
Sakamoto shine together with yet another collaboration.
Yubiwa is a nice slow paced song while Vector is a bit more
upbeat and catchy. If you're a Maaya fan, I could
definitely recommend this. I'll try to pick up the
soundtrack to the Escaflowne movie some time and see which of
the two would be a better buy. |
