| I've never seen any Dragon Ball before this
movie, so I didn't really know all that much about the
characters. I had first borrowed the tape version of
this, before it came out on DVD. The movie is a little
old, around 1988 I think, but it is pretty well done.
Decent story, good characters. The Character Notes helped
out a whole lot. My friend and boss, Doug tried to
explain to me the Dragon Ball Universe, but after a
little while, I was confused, and simply nodded my head
in faux-understanding to the rest of his tale. He tried
though. The reason this rated so high was the inclusion
of the Deleted TV Scenes. There are only four of them,
but they are about 4-5 minutes long each, and add that
special touch to the DVD version. It's all those little
extras that make it count! Dragon Ball fans shouldn't
miss out on this one. |
