| Well, this was somewhat of a disapointing
experiment. Not only is there no dubbing (not that I
really care) but there were no subtitles at all, and the
DVD menus are bare bones at best. Plus, I don't know if
this was just a bad printing or what, but whenever there
was a cut between scenes (practically every few seconds)
the picture would shift to the right, change scenes, then
shift back to the left. This got VERY annoying... What is the plus side to this? Well, it is
on DVD, and it won't wear out, but with such a jerky
picture, I probably wouldn't watch it all that much
anyway... I hope GAINAX, or ADV get's their act together
when or if they decide
to release them here in the states (which I really hope
they do! And Subtitled Please!!) Until then, I'll
probably not import anymore Evangelion DVD's. I'll just
bide my time, and wait.
Please remember that this is a
Region 2 encoded disc, and requires a DVD player from
Japan, or a computer DVD player set to Region 2 decoding.
Unless you have a DVD player that can read any disc...
which I doubt exist. :)
