Love Hina - Volume 2 : Go West!
Volume 2
Bandai - 1901
Volume 2 100 Minutes 2002

The Good News: Keitaro has been more or less accepted as the new manager of the Hinata Apartments.  The Bad News: He failed his latest entrance exams.  So he decides to take a short trip to Kyoto to boost his spirits.  Naru, depressed and disappointed about wasting her last three years studying, also decided she needs a break and sets off alone.  On their travels, they each meet someone who they think would be an ideal match - if only their glasses weren't broken and they could see!

Meanwhile, at the Hinata Apartments, the days pass quietly.  When the rest of the group doesn't hear from Keitaro or Naru, they mount a "rescue mission."  But just who is rescuing whom?  On the road to love, there are many bumps and bruises - and Keitaro's going to experience them all.  Love isn't blind - it's just nearsighted!

Yay!  Still a thumbs up for this series.  Volume 2 takes us through a wild and geographically educational journey. :)  Just like the 1st volume, sharp packaging (in a nifty slightly ice blue clear amaray case) and the animation quality still keeps up with the first volume.  Plus we meet up with Mutsumi who I think will play a much bigger role in the future, and Kentaro, Keitaro's "wealthy rival" over Narusegawa's affections.

Bring on Volume 3!  (release 06-18-2002)

As a side note, there's a nifty new Dolby Digital clip on this DVD.  I don't know why, but I like watching new ones every now and again. ^_^*
