Hi! My name is Yohko Mano and
I'm a typical Japanese High School Student ... at
least, that's what I always thought I was until a
monster tried to eat me at the swimming pool! Since
then things have gotten really weird around here, what
with my best friends getting possessed by demons, the
boy of my dreams being abducted by a blood-sucking
succubus, and my Grandmother telling me that I'm
really the 108th generation of a family of
professional Devil Hunters. It all sounds pretty
crazy, I know, but after the last few days I'm
beginning to think that this is more than just a
little serious, especially since Grandma says I'm the
only one who can stop our world from being invaded by
an army of demons, and that they'll do anything they
can to get rid of me first!
So. anyway, it looks like I'll
be taking over the family business, even if it's not
the most glamorous occupation I could think of. I just
hope that this bit about my having to stay
"physically pure" isn't going to put too
much of a crimp in my social life. I mean. I am in
high school, after all!
